Bill’s vast career experiences included sales training, real estate investing, institutional banking (former co-owner and founder, Westlake Bancorp; and the former president and CEO of Gatten Financial Services, Inc. and Markay Equipment Leasing, Inc., Thousand Oaks, Ca.).
Bill was one of the rare “boots-on-the-ground, in-the-trenches, get-your-hands-dirty investors who actually practiced what he preached.
His passion for teaching an innovative method of controlling properties safely and ethically using seller-assisted financing with no cash, no credit and no involvement from banks or intrusive government banking regulations has helped thousands of investors attain personal and financial success by helping homeowners deal with difficult properties.

JEFF’S NOTES:
Pioneer / innovator of the paradigm shifting PacTrust (describe briefly) which has become widely used by thousands of re agents to relieve distressed sellers of over-encumbered props and sell to buyers who can’t qualify for a mortgage, thus earning commissions on the front and back of the transaction.
The system created an escrow-like function where the property was placed in trust until buyer could replace the mortgage. This system brought much needed liquidity to the real estate market and helped thousand of distressed sellers become free of burdensome properties, and as many families who could not qualify for bank financing (at 18% in those days) realize their dream of owning a home.
Bill had very expansive mind, studying everything form math to science… an amateur magician and even a talented artist.
